In Maine and New Hampshire,
the home inspectors of
North Country Home Inspections
specialize in one thing only ......
Home Inspections!!
Think of us as general practitioners. Our job is to
examine the entire home and all of its systems and give you an evaluation with
our recommendations.
Sometimes we may recommend consulting a plumber,
an electrician, a structural engineer, a pest control specialist or some other expert about a particular problem that is uncovered.
If you were to initially hire all of these experts individually to come in and
inspect for their area of expertise, the total cost of the inspections would
run into the thousands of dollars.
Often, we can save you money in the
event that we find a condition that the homeowner was unaware. For
example, if we discover that the roof has some cracked rafters due to the heavy
snow loads from the previous winter, the homeowner may be willing to get the
roof fixed at their expense. Or you could negotiate a lower price and have
it repaired yourself, after the home was purchased. Similar situations
occur all the time and it is our job to spot them when they exist. We consider ourselves to be experts
in general home inspections and therefore our full inspections include the
following:
